Print Competition: Entries due Feb. 16!

Enter the semi-annual Digital Print Competition now to earn awards and get honest feedback on your images! The deadline is rapidly approaching, but you can submit images until Feb. 16 at 11:30 p.m.

The judging will start at 1 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Hilton Garden Inn Palm Beach Gardens, 3505 Kyoto Gardens Dr, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410. Scores will be announced and photos reviewed during the regular PPGPB monthly meeting, starting at 7 p.m.

This will be an all digital competition and we will be utilizing the same software as last time for digital entries and competition day processing. Here's the link to register and/or log in:

As we progress into the digital competition age, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the process for the maker and the audience. During live judging, the judging will be conducted with limited comments except for challenges. The General membership meeting starting at 7 pm will be for education of our members and judges commentary.

All members are welcome to attend the live judging and will be asked to pay our usual meeting fee of $10. Regular meeting will be held at 7 pm and a full recap of all the images on a big screen for all to see and where the judge’s comments can be heard by all. Some of the advantages of using printcompetition.com is that it will alleviate all of the paperwork associated with competition. No more forms to fill out and thumb drives to loose. All images are uploaded the night before into the system and are sorted and presented the day of judging.

You can upload your images and albums at any time up until the deadline of February 16th at 11.30 pm.. YOU HAVE TO LOG IN FIRST TO HAVE ANY ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE AND THAN UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES!! (printcompetition.com)

Another nice feature to the system is that for only $10 per quarter you can view the archive of images and listen to audio of the judge’s comments. A great way to learn and get a feel for what the judges may be looking for. Printcompetition.com is the same system used bat state level at FPP and by several other Florida Guilds as well as other states.
